This guy won’t let you drive away unless he is happy with the settings and the feel of the car, thats why he does the test drive, it’s not a hunter machine but similar, it’s better in my opinion, lot more sensitive, they will check everything in regards to your suspension and tracking, this guy will fix your car mate i promise you. im going back on friday to have a leaking driveshaft fixed and some linkages on the the back replaced. I was always happy though until recently where on the TT (and a Fabia we have) a pull to the left was never fixed. You could see even though all the specs were in tolerance the settings were not perfectly symmetrical. I took the car down to abc car services coz i was having isues with the ride and handling ov my w reg 2.0l ghia x,and i got to say the lads were fooking tip top tastic,they checked everything! lower arms,track rod ends,all bushes they even droped the struts and checked them and checked the springs aswell, steering rack sub frame and then a full geometry with before and after setup plus test drive and print out as well. I know its excellent service because I first went elsewhere and received crap service, on many occasions. For a while I was travelling all the way to Nottingham (about a 160 mile round trip). I then found a good garage in Huddersfield which was closer. The steering wheel on my Octavia has been offset to the right since new and the dealer was reluctant to disturb it as the tyre wear wasn’t giving any cause for concern. I am also getting a vibration and drone from the rear at 20-25mph. Gave them a call and booked in for today. No hard sell over the phone – Piotr explained what he would do – the alignment check would be free, he would explain the findings and make recommendations.
